Designed in the early 1900's the Arisaka Type 38 rifle was one of the most common realistic cycling action rifles seen in the hands of the Japanese Imperial Army. While not as powerful as its successor, the Type 99, the Type 38 was well designed and enjoyed widespread use and respect from the soldiers who fielded it in combat.
