View larger Extra Large, High Profile Rooftop Storage Capacity That Is Versatile and Safe The SportRack SR7095 Skyline is an extra large rooftop cargo box that provides 18 cubic feet of storage space atop virtually any roof rack. The box has a consistent high profile, allowing for the storage of larger items that can not be compressed. It is compatible with most rack configurations including: all SportRack roof rack systems, square, round and most factory racks. The box is constructed of durable high-density plastic that keeps moisture out, and provides resistance to impact strikes, and UV rays. Installation and Removal In Minutes Designed for ease of installation and removal, the SportRack Skyline Cargo Box easily attaches to rack system cross bars using simple U-bolts. Ridge sections along the bottom of the box allow it to fit snugly against load bars. The forward ridges also improve the aerodynamics of the loadbars. Once positioned in the appropriate spot atop rack loadbars, U-bolts are inserted from below around the bars, through pre-drilled holes, and into the interior of the box. Provided hardware attaches to the threads of the U-bolts, holding the box securely. Included vinyl hole covers keep the interior of the box dry, regardless of the weather outside. Safe and Secure Passenger Side Lid Opening The SportRack SR7095 Skyline XL Cargo Box features a passenger side oriented lid opening. This opening, away from the flow of traffic in most roadside and campground scenarios, provides safety and peace of mind to users during loading and unloading. Once raised, the lid automatically stays open for ease of use, and when closed overlays the lower section of the box, creating a waterproof seal. The box also includes two integrated lock cylinders along the edge of the box opening that secure box contents, and lock the box to your roof rack.
