-MEET THE GEN5X2 — 37% smaller and 43% more powerful than the GENM2. It’s our most compact and advanced onboard charger yet—engineered for peak performance in the harshest marine environments.
-MULTIPLE BANKS — A two-bank onboard battery charger rated at 10 amps total - 5 amps per bank. Independently charge 12V batteries in marine, boat, starter, and deep-cycle systems.
-CHARGING MODES — Selectable modes for each bank: 12V, 12V AGM, 12V Lithium, and 12V Repair Mode. Independently charge and maintain all types of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries with precision.
-ENJOY PRECISION CHARGING — An integrated thermal sensor adjusts charging based on ambient temperature, preventing overcharging in heat and undercharging in cold for optimal battery performance.
-CHARGE DEAD BATTERIES — Charge batteries from as low as 1 volt, or use Force Mode to manually begin charging batteries down to zero volts to recover deeply discharged or neglected batteries.
-REDEFINED MOUNTING — A simplified mounting system allows for fast, secure installation in any orientation - even upside down - with an integrated anti-vibration backing to isolate shock and noise.
-DESIGNED FOR WATER — A fully-sealed onboard charger rated IP68 for waterproof protection. Survives brutal life cycle testing, including thousands of hours underwater in the harshest marine conditions.
-WHAT’S IN THE BOX — GEN5X2 10A 2-bank onboard charger with 72-inch DC cables and 3/8-inch eyelets, 72-inch AC cable (Type-B), and two mounting screws. Backed by a 3-year warranty and engineered in the USA.
The NOCO GEN5X2 is a fully-sealed, waterproof onboard battery charger rated at 10 amps total—5 amps per bank—designed for 12-volt lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, including flooded, AGM, gel, and LiFePO₄ chemistries. It’s 37% smaller and delivers 43% more power than the previous-generation GENM2, making it our most compact and advanced charger yet. Each bank operates independently, allowing you to precisely charge and maintain two batteries simultaneously, even if they differ in type or condition. Selectable charging modes—12V, AGM, Lithium, and Repair Mode—offer tailored charging for battery health and longevity, while an integrated thermal sensor automatically adjusts charging in hot and cold climates to prevent overcharging or undercharging. For severely discharged batteries, Force Mode lets you manually begin charging from zero volts, a critical advantage for recovering deeply neglected batteries that other chargers can’t detect. Engineered for the harshest marine environments, the GEN5X2 features an IP68 rating and has endured brutal life cycle testing, including thousands of hours underwater. Installation is fast and secure in any orientation—even upside down—thanks to a redesigned mounting system with an integrated anti-vibration backing that isolates shock and noise. The GEN5X2 comes with 72-inch DC cables with 3/8-inch eyelets, a 72-inch Type-B AC cable, two mounting screws, and a user guide. It’s backed by a 3-year warranty, engineered in the USA, and certified to UL1236, ISO 8846, and 33 CFR 183.410 for safety, ignition protection, and marine compliance.
